Ophelia

Game Design

Ophelia is an immersive first-person PC game that takes current affairs to new extremes. Developed in response to a University game brief, a pitch bible was crafted to convey the game's creative concept, rich backstory and open-ended narrative. 

To bring this vision to life, I used Unreal Engine 4.26, pushing my technical boundaries with this being my first project in a real-time engine. The prototype serves as a glimpse into Ophelia's first level.

Through implementing interactions and level design, players are 

guided through this unfamiliar world.

With a strong foundation and the potential for future expansion, Ophelia combines elements of suspense, mystery and emotional depth, encouraging players to think individually. This project not only demonstrates my passion for game design but also showcases my ability to craft engaging narratives and retain a strong attention to detail throughout to create believable, well thought through environments.
