Froot
2D Animation
Froot is a 2D animation project created in response to a design brief provided by University. The objective was to develop four engaging Instagram story advertisements that promote a fruit juice brand, while adhering to specific requirements outlined within the brief. The animated clips aim to showcase the origins of the brand, highlighting the souring of fruits from Scotland and India. The brief required the advertisement promote their new strawberry and mango juice while embodying the company's beliefs and values.
Utilising Adobe Illustrator and After Effects, Froot was designed to have a home-made, crafted feel to reflect the ethos of the small start-up brand.
Each animation served a different purpose, the first clip targets the brand's key demographic - students, workers and young adults on their lunch breaks - capturing their attention with vibrant visuals and relatable messaging.
The second and third clips take the viewers on a journey, showcasing the process of bringing the fruits from the farm to the store. This aims to emphasise the brand's commitment to transparency and quality, reinforcing the consumers' trust in the product.
The fourth clip serves as a powerful finale showcasing the brand's values and standards. Through visuals and impactful storytelling, the advertisement conveys the brand's commitment to sustainability, social responsibility and customer satisfaction.
